Validesk (validesk.com.ng) lets registered users look up National Identification Number (NIN) records and generate NIN slips through licensed data partners connected to the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
You may only search for a person's identity record with that person's consent, or where the law otherwise allows it, such as customer onboarding, employment checks or registration. You must not use the service for fraud, impersonation, stalking or any purpose prohibited by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). We may suspend accounts that misuse the service and cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.
Searches are paid from your prepaid wallet at the prices shown on the website. When a search returns no record or fails because the upstream service is unavailable, the charge is refunded to your wallet automatically. Wallet funds are not withdrawable as cash except where required by law. Contact support for any billing dispute.
Records are returned as held by NIMC. We do not edit identity data and are not responsible for errors in the underlying record. For corrections, the record holder should contact NIMC.
We collect your name, email, phone number and password (stored hashed), your wallet transactions, and the searches you make together with their results, so that you can view and download them again.
Search results are only visible to the account that made the search and to authorised administrators for support and fraud prevention. We do not sell personal data. Data is sent over encrypted connections. You can ask us to delete your account and search history by contacting support.
